Dima Murovanni is a distinguished BJJ coach from Germany, renowned for his innovative coaching methods and profound understanding of the sport. He began his BJJ journey at the age of 24 and, despite facing significant injuries that curtailed his competitive aspirations, he transitioned into coaching, where he has made a substantial impact.
Currently based in Berlin, Dima serves as the head coach at BJJ Akademie Berlin and has worked with high-profile athletes such as Jozef Chen, Margot Ciccarelli, Jason Rau, Brianna Ste-Marie, and Owen Jones.
His coaching philosophy emphasises continuous learning and adaptability, encouraging athletes to maintain a "black belt mindset of always being a white belt."
Dima's analytical approach and dedication to fostering creativity have led to successful collaborations with elite teams like B-Team Jiu-Jitsu, where he has been instrumental in preparing athletes for major competitions such as ADCC and CJI.
